The Società Agricola Capriotti rises in the heart of the Vallesina, a Verdicchio territory by vocation. And it was born from the desire of brothers Monia and Mirko to create wines capable of narrating the uniqueness of their land.

OUR HISTORY

Behind a vineyard there is always a great story and hard work: even if Mirko and Monia come from different work experiences, they face this new challenge with determination and passion with the aim of producing unique wines capable of telling the true identity of their land, to warm hearts and cheer the spirit. It is with this deep sense of loyalty that in 2015 they found the Capriotti Agricultural Company. The estate initially extends over 4 hectares, including a new 3 hectare 100% Verdicchio vineyard. From 2020 it expands by about another 2 hectares of historic vineyard from the early 1980s, located in Piaggie (a small village nearby). The desire of bringing this precious land back to life and the mission of reaching the full production in a few years reveals a clear vision: saving this heritage would have represented an important act of protection for the agronomic background of Verdicchio.

OUR PRODUCTS

Working in the vineyard as nothing to do with repeating mechanical actions over and over again, on the contrary every day is dynamic and never the same and this is what keeps Monia constantly motivated. She dedicates most of her attention to the rows: the vine plant has its own life cycle, so there is a long and complex process to follow. Every step is delicate and very important in order to give the right structure to the vineyard, always considering the soil conditions and respecting the seasons. Everything is done completely by hand, with wise and precise movements, from pruning to harvest. Mirko is a true multifaceted and multi-tasking professional, who takes care of many different aspects of the business working as agricultural tractor driver in charge of setting and monitoring the vineyard, warehouse keeper, winemaker, sales manager, with the ambition of improving his skills more and more and the dream of making this project grow every day.
